Reverse the cuts on the 7, 111, 45, 8 and other
local bus routes – More public transport not less

Decent Health Care should be a right not a
privilege.
Restore Dun Laoghaire Baths as a
public swimming pool - Protect seafront amenities
and local heritage - Stop wasting council money on
consultants and elaborate plans.
Provide
social housing and repair boarded-up council houses
– End subsidies to landlords and developers.
Cut unemployment & improve local services by direct
employment of workers for council maintenance and
building work.
Abolish bin tax and no to
water charges – Fund local government with a fair
tax system based on income not stealth taxes that
hurt those on lower incomes.
Directly
elected mayors – Real democracy and public
participation in local government and planning.
End the misuse of council funds and cap the
salaries of the county manager and top officials at
€100,000.
Provide adequate youth and
community amenities – End Council neglect of areas
such as Sallynoggin, Mounttown, Monkstown Farm and
Dun Laoghaire Town. ... A Paediatric A&E and full regional status for Loughlinstown Hospital.

The location of a new Maritime Museum, Maritime and Climate Change Institute, planetarium and other civic amenities at the Carlisle Pier
No to large-scale private developments at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club, Power City, Booterstown Marsh, Bulloch Harbour, Shanganagh Castle.
Public showers, changing rooms and café/restaurant facility at Killiney Beach Tearooms.
No to the Monkstown Ring Road. Increased investment to provide better and cheaper public transport to ease traffic chaos |
